Object 15, Pastry Stand
ObjectDetails
The pastry stand, inspired by an intact glass bowl discovered at the Romano-British fort in Reculver, features a strikingly angular design. Its almost vertical incised rim transitions into a distinctive angular fold beneath, tapering into a convex, nearly hemispherical body — a bold departure from other forms of the time.
